Pink shoot
In out Seminar we were all given a colour either Pink, Gold or Black. I was given the colour pink. We were asked to do a shoot and research surrounding that colour and two mood boards. The first mood board was "I Love" and the Second one was on "I hate" this meant that for the first one I did thing that are popular with the colour pink and that are not a cliche and the second one was to be typical thing that are pink and that are a niche. I also did a pink photoshoot with my friend where I got her to dress up in pink all over even makeup.
Louis Vuitton (supreme)
Louise Vuitton did a collaboration with Supreme in 2017 which a lot of brand like todo to get more publicity and to reach out to another client base. When Vuitton collaborated with Supreme this not only reached out to an older client base but it reached out to a more younger base, Younger people who like supreme teens and people in there 20's. A lot of brands do collaboration such as The Calabasis X Adidas Yeezy Powerhouse collaboration and the Comme Des Garcons X Nike Vapourmax.
Saint Laurent show
With Saint Laurent Fashion Shows, what they have done something very clever, which is created the ready t wear trend. This means that as soon as you see it on the catwalk you can buy it instantly. This is very clever because this makes a quicker sale and instead of having to order online or wait for it to get in store you can have it instantly.
Gucci fall winter 2017 campaign
Gucci is very well know for being a very out there kind of brand so when there winter fall 2017 campaign came out it didn't really shock the public how crazy and weird it was. They created a Sci-Fi Fantasy campaign that was full of colour and patterns in the clothing and also in the make-up and hair. By doing this kind of add, it created a lot of buzz around the brand which would help them because they would not have todo as much advertising them self.
Dior show
What I liked about the Dior show was how they put flowers everywhere and created some kind of maze. this represented the brand very well because they are known for being a very feminine and delicate brand. A lot of there clothing pieces are very girly and in the colours such as pale pinks and light blues, so by placing flowers everywhere in the colours that they design there clothes in helps connect the two.
Chanel Show
when I was doing research on other brands and how they market and represent there brand I came across the Chanel Fashion shows. What I like about there fashion shows is how crazy and fun they make them. karl Lagerfeld is very creative in the way he designs the layout of his fashion show and how he incorporates the designs of the clothes to the designs of the catwalk.
